Awesome!

Well, definetely worths 1.99. This is the first app for iPhone allowing you to test 3D page turning feature available exclusively for iPad. Interface: Its just simple and beautiful. You have main info and options under your hand. It has some reverse side of coin: item downloading view is a bit ugly(especially on iPad), devs need to redesign it. Usability: You can redefine tap zones to vertical or horizontal. As for me, "dead zone"(where pages dont turn, instead you have some info about book and some options) is a bit small. Instead of showing options I sometimes turn the page. Rendering: iPhone version is just beautiful! iPad version is a bit ugly, you see these polygons and non-real shadows. But these bugs are nothing comparing to readMes advantages ;)

Next best thing to Stanza

So I got hooked on Stanzas night mode and ability to transfer books via WiFi. I was disappointed when I learned there would be no iPad version of Stanza. This is the next best thing. Its buggy, but man when it works its every bit as good as Stanza. If the developers can get rid of the random crashes, its 5 stars.

Messes up PDF s

Does NOT do what the description says - fir PDF s it only extracts the text - does not do as the screen shots suggest. RIP OFF

Nice but...

It is nice application to read book while you have it already within your device. But the rest is bad. It has only two ways of getting books - download using internal browser or upload using internal server. Internal browser failed at all with my favorite book site. It is just simple not show full page, this why no way to get a book!!! Internal web server bad too. It failed to deal with any single cyrillic character in the name of the file.

Skip it

ePub formatting is a mess, no easy way to upload large batches of books (HTML upload of zip files of over 50k always fails on me, and lousy support (emailed support twice, got only one response saying "Well get back to you soon." and never heard back). Stick with free iBooks or look for something else.

Wanted for EPub Books - benefits vs. iBook application questionable

So after reading many blogs, it seemed this was the way to go to move Calibre download magazines, books to the iPad from a PC. The transfers were sort of OK, logging on to the iPad using the PC browser worked, not exactly convienient or well designed by OK. But then the issuse using the software started. - The Economist newspaper badly distorted with graphics being repeated.. I had a picture of David Beckham on each page. Somepeople might like that. - The interface is bad, the 3D page turning works sporadically and getting to the controls was ofter difficult. - Index and navigation never worked, the links are displayed but do not work. I have since discovered you can drag EPub books directly on the iPad and use iBook, lovely.

Cool app. Thanks

Please add quick brightness control if u can. Other then that its an awesome app. Thank you

I want to like this app, but...

Ive had it "hang" several time while trying to adjust font size. Scrolling vertically in different and not as nice as "turning" a page as in a book. It says it will flip pages, like iBooks, but I cant figure out how to do it. The Settings icon doesnt bring up all the options they claim the app has. I do like the web server feature to load books but until an update makes the settings easier to use I wont be using this app for reading.

A good one

The best book reader for fb2 content! Nice looking, easy to use and very fast.

magic app

Это одновременно и простое и удобное приложение! Читать с помощью него одно удовольствие! Поддержка EPUB, FB2 и PDF, очень привлекательно, так как позволяет найти больше книг, а следовательно и удовольствие от ее прочтения! it simultaneously both simple and the convenient appendix! To read by means of it it is a pleasure! Support EPUB, FB2 and PDF, it is very attractive, as allows to find more books, and consequently also pleasure from its perusal!

Garbage

What a waste. Interface is clunky. Doesnt support itunes drag/drop. Web interface doesnt work. Web server doesnt work either. Its just a $1.99 empty app. Avoid

Major Improvements

Much better than the initial release for the iPad, especially the ability to load epub files from email and Safari. Has replaced Stanza as my reader of choice for downloaded files.

Thanks guys!

Excellent program, from the fine developers! All advise, reading a pleasure. Thanks guys!

Very unstable

Application crashes constantly on multiple FB2 files that I tried. Crashes happen while changing the font, browsing through the book and even just reading... Previous version - 1.7 - got into the endless loop crashing immediately after the start, so I had to uninstall it. Unfortunately, the new version - 1.8 - seems to be even less stable... One more note: fonts look blurry, unless fullscreen mode is enabled...

Almost Perfect

Latest update helped a lot. Most accurate page turning. How about making the opening splash screen look better than an old drawing of a palm PDA? Give me a nice book shelve to view my magazines and books. Again, once opened the book looks great and the page turning is tops. I just want a better visual experience.

it seemed like such a great idea

I tried to download a 97 page document. It downloaded the first 5 pages over and over again, but not the rest of the document. The formatting is all wrong causing sentences to be mixed up with each other. I am using the iPhone 3G. This is the part of the App store that I hate the most. This company gets to keep my money for making a crap product.

Wont recognize files

Would like my money back as this app doesnt work. I was excited about an app that would let me read ebooks that dont have to be purchased through the iBook store. After fumbling through the upload process (not a lot of info on how to do this), their server could not recognize any of the files i tried to load. I tried several epub files and when it finally loaded one, the text was all corrupted and in the Cyrillic alphabet. Definitely not the book I was trying to upload. Dont waste your time or money on this one.

Almost great

Works great on iPhone, but only works for epubs on iPad. PDFs show up, but only day mode is viewable. Screen goes all black in night mode. Please fix. Night mode is easier for me to read.

Great App

Excellent user interface. Very easy to navigate and use. Since Im looking for a Stanza replacement, this is suiting my needs rather well. To improve to a use-everyday-app, would still need a built-in dictionary and way to edit metadata (like title, author, and cover).

Disappointing

The color setting does not work and it constantly crashes. I want a refund for this!
